Where It Began
For fifteen years I worked inside growing businesses—building departments, managing client relationships, leading customer facing teams, owning people operations, and serving as the connective tissue between teams that didn't always speak the same language.
That gave me a front-row seat to growth.
Not just the exciting parts.
The messy parts.
I watched communication break down as teams expanded. I watched founders get pulled back into work they thought they'd delegated. I watched employees work incredibly hard while customers still felt the gaps.
Because I worked across so many functions, I heard the frustrations from every angle—founders trying to scale, employees trying to keep up, and customers experiencing the ripple effects.
The symptoms looked different in every company, but the pattern was consistent.
Growth didn't create the problems.
It exposed what the organization wasn't yet built to support.
The challenge was rarely a single department, a single leader, or a single process. It was how everything worked, or failed to work, together.
Everyone experienced a different piece of the problem. I had the opportunity to see how those pieces fit together.
Organizations don't succeed through individual departments. They succeed through the connections between them.
